32 HOURS IN VENICE
VENICE 2015 PHOTO DIARY
Continuing with updates from my adventures to London/Venice last last weekend, here are some photos from the beautiful city of Venice. It was a shame that for most of the time we were there the weather wasn't great. And it was only when we were about to leave that the sun came out :( Regardless, Venice is a stunning city and I had a really enjoyable time exploring some of the less touristy places this time. I must admit though, some of the coolest / quietest places were breathtaking, but smelled like sewages...
We stayed at the St. Regis San Clemente Palace, which was a total dream. The property is situated on a private island that can only be accessed by taxi boat or by one of the Hotel's complimentary shuttle boats from San Marco. The ground were huge and there was enough room for a whole town of people. I was really surprised by how big the actual Hotel building was as well. Before arrival, I had only expected around 50 rooms at the hotel, but it turns out that there are way more than that (200?)! The property was really well-maintained and it was great to be able to return to this palatial shelter after a whole day of exploring in the city center.
Until next time, Venezia X
